Flexible Plans for Agile Teams

A HYPE board is the “canvas” where all collaboration happens. An organization may have just one board to gather, store and develop ideas around a specific process or use multiple HYPE boards to manage and organize more versatile activities, project and processes.

When you sign up for HYPE Boards, you will automatically start with a 14-day free trial of our Pro plan so that you can experience the full power of the platform for yourself.

Once your trial expires, you will automatically be downgraded and Pro features will be disabled from your boards. This way, you don't need to input your credit card at any point during the process if you don't want to upgrade.

If you've exceeded the limits of the Free plan during your trial, your plan will be temporarily locked and you will need to remove enough data (boards or users) to get you back within the limits of the Free plan, or alternatively, upgrade to one of our paid plans.

If you have less than 10 users and just want to get started you can use HYPE Boards for free, with limited functionalities. 

However, if you want to engage more than 10 people, you need to get more ideas, or you need more fine-grained control over the ideation or innovation process, you should look at the Basic or Pro plans, depending on your needs. For example our evaluation feature is extremely useful for prioritizing ideas, and the support for multiple boards makes HYPE Boards incredibly flexible. Thus, if you are a small or medium organization and are planning to take  innovation seriously, you want to take a look at our Basic and Pro plans. With them, you have access to more powerful features and also get flexibility to purchase only the number of user licenses you actually need.

For larger organizations, that want to engage more than 1000 users, the Enterprise  plan is likely to be a better fit. As the number of user licenses rises, customers obviously want predictable fixed-term pricing. If you want to run large-scale innovation projects, find the right partners to take innovation to the next level and get all the support you need to succeed, then you should look into the HYPE Suite offering.

Our plans are primarily charged via credit card with all major card brands being supported.

For larger purchases in our Pro plan, it is also possible to use other forms of payment, such as via invoice.

We do understand than in many large organizations, 14 days can seem like a very short time.

However, we've found that such deadlines can often be very helpful for getting even the biggest organizations to move quickly, which again is key to helping you succeed in making more innovation happen.

So, our advice is to prepare to make the most out of the situation and thus to use that 14-day deadline to your advantage!

Once that ends, you can still use HYPE Boards' free functionalities that usually can get you started in your innovation journey. This is quite a common situation for many organizations but there's no need to worry, we've got you covered.

For short one-off needs, you can buy our Basic Monthly plan, which starts at $79/month directly from within the app. As you're on a monthly contract, no long term commitments are necessary, and you have the flexility to purchase additional licenses only when you need those.

The downside is that the Monthly plan is a bit more expensive per user than our annual plans. So if you're like most of our customers, when you start using HYPE Boards, you'll be constantly surprised about all the situations where it can help you drive a lot more value than you might have initially thought. In this case, you'll probably want to upgrade to an annual plan to keep your costs down.

If, for some reason, you have very specific needs (e.g. short large scale campaign) and don't want an annual contract, we do offer plans for such situations too. For more information, please contact us.

Our paid plans are generally speaking annual and billed in advance.

Basic and Pro plans include a fixed number of user licenses in the base fee for the plan. If you exceed that figure, additional licenses will be purchased for each unique active user in your organization according to the terms of your plan. Each user account that is active on at least one of the boards in your organization counts as an active user.

Our Basic plan is also available on a monthly basis. It works exactly the same way as the annual plan, just with a monthly contract and slightly higher price per user.

To avoid exceeding your user limits, you can simply deactivate the users you no longer wish to have access to the system. Please note that the users must be removed from all boards managed by your organization before they release the user license.
